The Spanish World Cup winner has been linked with a move away from the Serie A champions, and Daily Express [via Sport Mediaset] reports Tottenham have won the race for the former Athletic Bilbao man’s signature.
Mauricio Pochettino is understood to be on the lookout for a striker to pair next to English starlet Harry Kane with Roberto Soldado again failing to impress last term.
Llorente is out of favour at Juventus following the arrivals of Mario Mandzukic, Paulo Dybala and Simone Zaza, and spent last season as second fiddle behind Alvaro Morata and Carlos Tevez.
Tottenham have completed the signing of Atletico Madrid defender Toby Alderweireld on Wednesday, and news of Llorente’s reported signing will come as a major boost for Spurs’ Champions League aspirations.
Pochettino’s side finished fifth in the Premier League last term and will play Europa League football next season.
