The prolific Uruguayan is widely expected to leave PSG at the end of this season after a difficult time in the French capital, with Premier League clubs interested in snapping him up.
Still, having previously shone in Serie A with Napoli, it could be that Cavani will be tempted to make the return to Italy if Juventus do come calling.
United have been strongly linked with Cavani as a replacement for under-performing loan star Radamel Falcao.
