According to The Sun, the Serie A giants will have plenty of spare cash lying around, as they expect to lose their playmaker Paul Pogba in the summer. However, they do not plan to let the Frenchman go for anything less than £75m.
But if they wish to secure Sterling’s signature, then they will have to beat off plenty of rivals. The Sun suggest that all of the Premier League’s top four, as well as Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are keen on the 20-year-old, as his relationship with the Reds appears to be uncomfortable.
The youngster turned down a new contract at Anfield, and put any further talks on hold until the summer. However since then, the player has been involved in a few controversial incidents including being pictured smoking a shisha pipe, and being filmed inhaling laughing gas.
