The Kansas City Chiefs were unable to recover from an upset loss to the Oakland Raiders as they fell, 29-16, to the Denver Broncos.
The offense looked noticeably bad as quarterback Alex Smith was unable to receive protection from his offensive line as he was sacked six times, and a wide receiver has still not caught a touchdown pass for the Chiefs this season.
Running back Jamaal Charles was held to 35 rushing yards as the Chiefs were forced to play from behind. Head coach Andy Reid said that his team has “stalled” for the last two weeks, and the Chiefs are in danger of missing the playoffs as they are 7-5.
