Kansas City Chiefs rookie running back De’Anthony Thomas injured his hamstring this week, and it put his status for Week 1 in jeopardy.
The Chiefs are scheduled to play the Tennessee Titans in their season opener Sunday, and luckily they still have plenty of quality depth at running back with Jamaal Charles and Knile Davis.
Thomas is expected to make an instant impact in the Chiefs’ return game, but the Chiefs will likely have to wait for that since Thomas is listed as doubtful for Week 1.
A tweet from the Chiefs’ official Twitter account confirms Thomas’ game status.
