Arsenal have suffered a huge transfer blow as the agent of Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has revealed that he is happy in Spain.
The 27-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Bernabeu this summer, with Arsenal reportedly preparing a £40m bid, according to Sky Sports.

However, even though Arsene Wenger has moved to cool those reports by insisting that nothing is happening on that front, it is still believed that the Gunners will address their issues up front and look to sign the French international.
They could well be left disappointed though, with Karim Djaziri, Benzema’s agent, revealing that his client is more than happy in the Spanish capital.
“Karim is very happy at Real Madrid and he will be a Real Madrid player by the end of this transfer window, 1,000 per cent,” he told Sky Sports.
“Karim is not looking to move anywhere this summer.”
It remains to be seen whether or not Wenger opts to test the resolve of the Spanish giants by putting an official bid on the table at some point this summer, but the latest comments suggest that Benzema may well need some convincing too.
