Pajtim Kasami and Steve Sidwell struck incredible volleys from outside the area as Fulham thrashed Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

Pajtim Kasami and Steve Sidwell scored wonder goals as Fulham secured a comeback victory against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
The Eagles took the lead with just seven minutes gone when Adrian Mariappa headed in Jason Puncheon’s cross, but that was as good as it got for Palace as Fulham ran riot thereafter.
Kasami’s equaliser was out of this world – as explosive a strike as Jack Wilshere’s brilliant team goal for Arsenal on Saturday was delicate trickery.
The 21 year-old started sprinting from inside his own half, gesturing where he wanted the ball. Sascha Riether played a long ball over Kasami’s head towards the right hand side of the box, which the Swiss international controlled with his chest before unleashing an unstoppable volley into the far corner from a tight angle.
Soon afterwards, Fulham led the match for the first time.
When Bryan Ruiz’s free kick came off the wall, Steve Sidwell – of all people – crashed home another ludicrous volley to put his team in front.
Dimitar Berbatov’s header was unusually for him the worst goal of the game, before Philippe Senderos wrapped up the points with another acrobatic volley; which like Berbatov’s strike came from a Ruiz corner.
