Attacking Midfielders
Mesut Ozil – Keep – Arsenal fans will be hoping for an increased level of influence from the World Cup winner after a reasonably impressive first season in the Premier League.
Alexis Sanchez – Keep – The new signing from Barcelona is likely to be come one of the key members of Wenger’s team and could take up a position wide on the left.
Santi Cazorla – Sell – Perhaps controversial, as Cazorla is a fine player, Arsenal should sell if they can make a profit on a player heading into his thirties. Sanchez’s arrival may also curtail his first team opportunities.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain – Keep – Had another campaign that was disrupted by injury but he is continuing to improve and will hope to have a full season as a key part of the Arsenal set-up.
Tomas Rosicky – Keep – The experienced midfielder provides creativity and balance when he plays and is a largely dependable members of the squad.
Ryo Miyaichi – Sell – Hasn’t lived up to the promise shown during his early loan spell at Feyenoord, now looks unlikely to make it with the Gunners.
Serge Gnabry – Loan – Enjoyed a breakthrough season at the Emirates Stadium with some excellent performances, but with the players ahead of him a loan spell might be the best move for the German.
Potential signing – none – Arsenal are well stocked in this area and should divert their attentions elsewhere.
