Experienced striker has just enjoyed a fine start to life in the capital.
Borussia Dortmund are interested in bringing Arsenal front man Lukas Podolski back to Germany when the transfer window reopens later this summer, says the Sun.
The Germany international only arrived at the Emirates at the start of this season, having signed for the north London club from FC Koln on a long-term contract for an undisclosed fee last April.
And in the 27-year-old’s first campaign in the capital, he managed to net 11 goals in his 33 Premier League outings, while overall for the Gunners the attacker was on target an impressive 16 times in just 42 matches.
However, Arsenal head coach Arsene Wenger did drop Podolski earlier this year as the club went in search of a top-four finish in the league, with the German at the time finding it hard to hit the back of the net.
As a result, it is believed that the beaten Uefa Champions League finalists are hoping to be able to persuade the experienced marksman to swap London for the Ruhr Valley this summer.
