The 23-year-old twisted his ankle whilst playing for Wales during Tuesday’s Euro 2016 qualification triumph over Andorra, adding to the criticism of the nation’s artificial pitch.
There was much debate ahead of the game as to whether it was good enough and Real Madrid star Gareth Bale dubbed it the worst pitch he had ever played on after scoring a brace to secure a 2-1 victory for his side.
However, UEFA deemed the surface playable and Gunners manager Arsene Wenger may be ruing their decision as one of his key figures could miss one of the biggest games of the season as a result.
Ramsey himself is confident of being fit and ready to take on the Citizens at the Emirates Stadium at the weekend though.
“I’ll be all right – the pitch was very hard there’s no give in it so I rolled my ankle a bit,” the Welshman was quoted by the Guardian.
“Hopefully it will be nothing and I’ll be available for Saturday.”
Ramsey has been in good form for the North London outfit once again this term, scoring twice already in the league and helping the side to qualify for the Champions League Group Stage.
