Arsenal will be buoyed by the news that the likes of Jack Wilshere, Mikel Arteta and Abou Diaby could be taking a giant step towards first team football as all three are set to feature for their under-21 side against Stoke City on Tuesday night, according to the club’s official website.

Wilshere, who has been laid low with an ankle injury that required surgery, has not featured since the 2-1 defeat to Manchester United back in November.
Having played and scored in last week’s clash with Brentford, he will once again take part for the junior side to step up his recovery and help the Gunners maintain a final push towards the Champions League over the coming weeks.
Arteta, who has also been suffering with ankle trouble, has not featured since their home game with Borussia Dortmund, but the club captain’s presence will also undoubtedly be a boost.
Abou Diaby will also play.
German starlet Serge Gnabry will likely be included in Steve Gatting’s side, though it may be too late for him to make a meaningful impact on the first team this term.
