Manly Sea Eagles star Kieran Foran is facing a stint of the sidelines after suffering yet another hamstring injury following Sunday’s ANZAC Test.

Foran featured in New Zealand’s 26-12 win over Australia in Brisbane, and played the whole second half with the injury.
Sea Eagles coach Geoff Toovey revealed the news on the club’s website.
“Unfortunately for us we got an injury out of it [rep round]. Kieran Foran looks like he may be out for several weeks with a hamstring injury,” Toovey
“He played on in the second half with it, but will be out for several weeks.”
Feleti Mateo (ankle) and Josh Starling (knee) are chances to return against the Newcastle Knights this weekend, while Tom Trbojevic is close to full fitness after suffering an ankle injury.
Jesse Sene-Lefao is still over a month away due to a shoulder injury, with Brenton Lawrence and Kieran Foran ruled as “indefinite” following back and hamstring injuries respectively.
In other NRL news, Gold Coast Titans star Greg Bird has been ruled out of the entire State of Origin series after he was hit with an eight-game ban at the judiciary on Wednesday.
Aside from missing the entire State of Origin series, the star forward will not be available until the Titans’ round 19 clash against the Newcastle Knights.
