Rajasthan can secure their place in the Indian Premier League playoffs by beating Kings XI this evening.
The Royals go into the game on the back of a humbling 25-run defeat to Mumbai Indians on Monday – a game in which six of their batsmen got out without reaching double figures.
Punjab, whose appearance in the playoffs is already confirmed, also come into this match following a heavy loss to Mumbai.
George Bailey’s men suffered a middle-order collapse on their way to posting a modest total of 156-8, which Mumbai eclipsed with an over and seven wickets to spare on Wednesday.
Prediction: Kings XI’s batsmen won’t change their ‘go hard, or go home’ approach following Wednesday’s disappointment. Nor should they… It has worked a treat for most of IPL 7 and I think it will get them another win today.
