First unsporting behavior case by FAM
Hafizi Rosli has been banned for six month and fined RM2k by the Football Association of Malaysia
The Kuala Lumpor man has been charged for Unsporting behaviour by the FAM, he is the first footballer to have been charged with that particular offence
According to the Star Malaysia, the player gave the ball to an opponent during a Malaysian Premier League match on May 17th.
This resulted in Sime Darby FC scoring a goal.
Speaking to the Malaysia Star at a Press Conference on Wednesday, disciplinary committe chairman, Datuk Taufik Tan Sri Abdul Razak said: “Let this be a reminder to all the players in the M-League to practice fairplay and sportsmanship.
“The KLFA had accused him for not giving his full commitment during the game and this led to FAM probing into the case.”
