Kurt Zouma has promised to continue impressing when given the chance this season. The Chelsea defender has been dubbed the long-term replacement for captain John Terry, and will hope to add to his growing reputation throughout the remainder of the campaign.

The 20-year-old has played in 14 games for the Blues during the current term, while he had a starring role in his side’s Capital One Cup semi-final win over Liverpool, which ended in a 1-0 victory after extra time.
“I’m very happy and proud because the boss gave me a chance to play and I had to be ready,” Zouma told the Times.
“I was ready and I played well so I have to continue. I’m never nervous on the pitch, never.
“The manager spoke to me after the Bradford game about their second goal. It was a throw-in, and I got caught in front of the striker, instead of being behind him. The one player who was left alone scored.”
