Real Betis interested in Gunners flop Marouane Chamakh.
Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh is wanted by La Liga outfit Real Betis, according to talkSPORT.
The 29-year-old Moroccan is certain to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer, as boss Arsene Wenger clears the deadwood to make way for new signings.
Chamakh spent this season on loan at West Ham but managed a dismal three appearances for Sam Allardyce’s side, without scoring.
Arsenal signed Chamakh on a free transfer from Bordeaux in 2010 but after a bright start the forward faded badly and has made just 19 Premier League starts fo Wenger’s side since.
The Gunners have been linked with a host of new strikers this summer, including Fiorentina’s Stevan Jovetic and Real Madrid star Gonzalo Higuain.
The Frenchman is expected to sign a forward, after failing to properly replace Robin van Persie, who joined Manchester United last July.
