The Colombian has been on loan at Old Trafford this season, and they have an option to sign the forward permanently for £46 million at the end of the season, however, it’s looking increasingly unlikely that they will take up this offer as Falcao struggles for form.
Falcao has managed just four goals in 16 Premier League appearances so far this term.
Valencia owner Peter Lim is willing to bankroll a move for the striker as part of a spending spree to try and take on Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona.
The Asian businessman has close ties with Falcao’s agent Jorge Mendes, which could aid Valencia’s push to complete the deal.
