Colorado State fell to 10-2 with a loss to Air Force in heartbreaking fashion as the Falcons won on a last-second field goal. They will look to finish strongly in the Las Vegas Bowl against Utah.
The Rams offense stalled at the end of the fourth quarter when quarterback Garrett Grayson threw an interception, and the Rams turned the ball over on downs on their final drive.
Grayson had an overall solid game though as he threw for 366 yards and three touchdowns with an interception on 23-of-46 passing. Running back Dee Hart ran for 115 yards on 23 carries.
Wide receiver Rashard Higgins exploded for 12 catches for 193 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Utah finished their season with a close 38-34 win against Colorado. Quarterback Travis Wilson had his best game of the season with 311 yards and three touchdown passes on 25-of-37 passing.
Running back Devontae Booker will be the player to watch though as he has rushed for 1,350 yards and nine touchdowns this season.
He should be able to take advantage of a weak Colorado State run defense, which ranks 89th in the nation with 187.6 yards per game.
However, Utah has a vulnerable pass defense with 245 yards allowed per game. Ultimately, Utah has been more battle-tested with five ranked opponents.
Prediction: Utah 28, Colorado State 24
