Ferguson famously made the mistake of letting the Frenchman’s contract expire at Old Trafford which in turn allowed him to make the move to Turin on a free transfer.
Pogba has since developed into one of the top midfielders in Europe, and at just 22 years of age, is expected to continue to improve his game and become a star for club and country.
However, he has been linked with an exit from Juventus this summer with Barcelona and Man City amongst the clubs tracking his situation, and Ferguson believes that the Serie A champions should consider selling for the sizeable transfer fee reported.
“I would sell Pogba. It’s true, I already let him go, but if I were Juve now then I’d sell,” Ferguson told Tuttosport, according to Football Italia.
It was reported earlier this month that Barcelona had had an €80m rejected by Juve, but the two clubs discussed a pact that would allow the French international to join the Catalan giants next year.
However, City were alerted by that speculation and are claimed to be readying a mega offer to try and steal the former United youngster.
