Jose Mourinho’s complaints about referees this season have been almost non-stop. And it seems more than likely that the Chelsea manager will have something to say about Liverpool’s equaliser at Stamford Bridge this afternoon.
Philippe Coutinho found the net after 47 minutes and 23 seconds to cancel out an early header by Ramires. However, only two minutes of injury time had been signalled.
When asked live on BT Sport if he thought the half should have ended “bang on 47 minutes” – before Coutinho’s goal – former World Cup final ref Howard Webb said: “I think it should.”
