Brazilian Maikon Leite has left Atlas after the Liga MX side chose not to take up their option to sign him.
It means he will now head back to parent club Palmeiras.

Meanwhile, Tomas Boy will be manager of Atlas for at least another 6 months after he negotiated a contract extension with the Atlas board. The move had been under some doubt after a series of high-profile fallouts, but a great season which ended in the Liguilla quarter finals ultimately meant his place was safe.
Atlas are preparing for 2015 when they will play in the Copa Libertadores. They have been drawn in a group with Colo Colo from Chile.
