Worked hard up and down the left flank to little avail. Booked for a needlessly poor challenge.

CB) Dejan Lovren – 6

Solid throughout other than for Villa’s goal. Still doesn’t look the answer to Liverpool’s defensive woes.

CB) Mamadou Sakho – 4

Needs to put more pace on his passes, especially if he’s going to insist on move possession sideways. Looks vulnerable defensively and slows the game down moving forward.
