There is no such thing as a one-man team nowadays but that accusation is continually levelled at Portugal due to their reliance on their captain, Cristiano Ronaldo.
If it was not for the sensational forward the Portuguese would not be involved in this tournament after he single-handedly dragged his team through a play-off with Sweden.
Ronaldo scored all four goals across the two-legged tie, seeing off the Swedes 4-2 on aggregate.
The 29-year-old will certainly be one of the stars of the World Cup and if Portugal are to achieve any success then he will be the architect of it.
