3. Mario Yepes
The legendary defender has been playing for his country since 1999 and is set to move past 100 caps for Colombia at this summer’s World Cup.
He is currently on 98 and will move past Leonel Alvarez into second place on his nation’s all-time list if he can make it to 102 in Brazil.
Yepes will retire after this summer’s tournament and having played for some of the greatest clubs in Europe and South America, a successful World Cup will be a fitting end to a great career.
