Liverpool have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Hoffenheim attacker Roberto Firmino, and it’s fair to say long-suffering Reds fans are pretty chuffed…

According to the BBC, Liverpool have agreed a £29m fee in principle for the Hoffenheim star, who is currently on international duty with Brazil at the Copa America in Chile.
Reds chief executive Ian Ayre has flown out to Chile to complete the deal, with the 23-year-old believed to have agreed to terms with the Merseyside club.
Firmino has scored 35 goals in 145 Bundesliga appearances and is reported to have turned down the likes of Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund and AS Roma to join the Reds.
