Tom Ince is happy at Blackpool says dad Paul.
Blackpool winger Tom Ince will only be sold for ‘ridiculous’ money this summer, according to the Seasider’s boss and Tom’s dad Paul.
Tottenham, Liverpool and Crystal Palace have been linked with a move for the 21-year-old, who has enjoyed a fine season for the Tangerines.
The England under-21 international netted 18 goals in 44 games from the wing and almost re-joined Liverpool in January, only for the Reds to fail to agree a fee with Blackpool.
Newly-promoted Palace have been linked with a double deal to sign Ince and Matt Phillips, while Spurs are also thought to be keen on the former Anfield starlet.
But Ince senior says his son is happy at Bloomfield Road and insisted it would take big money to persuaded the club to part with their prized asset.
“But speaking to him, he will be happy to come and play here again,” he told the Blackpool Gazette.
“I’m not saying he doesn’t want to go and play in the Premier League because I know one day he will.
“If we can keep him for the next 12 months, then it will save us from looking elsewhere. We’d like to keep him but if someone makes a ridiculous offer we’ll have to look at it.
“Fingers crossed he’ll be here again next year.”
