Newcastle United youngster Rolando Aarons looks set to turn his back on a move away from St James’ Park, according to reports.
Both Liverpool and Arsenal were heavily linked with the 19-year-old during the summer transfer window, however, the Newcastle Chronicle [via Daily Express] reports Aarons is ready to sign a new deal to remain with the Magpies.
The Jamaica-born England youth international possesses searing pace and strong technical ability and has been likened to Manchester City ace Raheem Sterling.
Aarons has made just five Premier League appearances for Newcastle so far, but Daily Express reports the attacker was keen on a move to either Arsenal or Liverpool during the summer.
It is now understood he has had a change of heart and is ready to commit his future to Newcastle.
Newcastle currently sit 18th on the Premier League table following a winless start to the season under new boss Steve McLaren.
