Lucas Digne is expected to go somewhere where he can get more first team reps.
Paris Saint-Germain target Lucas Digne has drawn interest from Liverpool and Roma, but another Premier League club has emerged with a strong bet that could seal the deal.
According to the Metro, West Ham United have enetered the Digne bidding war with a £5.6 million transfer bid for the 22-year-old French international.
Hammers boss Slaven Bilic is reportedly very fond of Digne and hopes the French stud can be a part of a big year in West Ham’s last year at Boleyn Ground.
Digne has made 29 appearances for PSG over the last two seasons since signing on a €15 million transfer. But his value for the French national team has been very strong, with over 75 caps and 3 goals since 2008 for every “Under-” team in his country.
Several days ago it was reported that Digne was eager to join Liverpool because he needs the added first team reps in order to qualify for Euro 2016 with France – time he wouldn’t be able to get with PSG.
