Liverpool have already many signings throughout the summer, and winger Denis Cheryshev has now been added to their wish list.
The Reds have made a bid worth £22m to Real Madrid for Cheryshev, according to Mirror.
Despite being under contract with Real Madrid, Cheryshev has not played a single game in Bernabeu since 2013.
The Russian international has spent the last two seasons on a loan with Sevilla and Villarreal respectively.
Cheryshev scored four goals in 26 La Liga appearances for Villarreal last season.
After two seasons on loan deals, Cheryshev will more than likely be leaving Bernabeu.
He currently finds himself buried at the bottom of the pecking order, under mega talents such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale.
Liverpool are looking to upgrade their squad heavily after finishing last season in a disappointing sixth place.
They have already acted by boosting their defence by signing Nathaniel Clyne.
The Reds have also boosted their midfield depth by signing James Milner on a free transfer deal while also bringing in striker Danny Ings to improve their attack.
