The former Swansea boss has been at Anfield for two and a half years and admits he has thoroughly enjoyed the rivalry with Everton, with the games always producing quality entertainment.
“I’ve been involved in a few of the games over past two and a half years and they are wonderful games to be involved in. They go so fast, they are full of emotion, and the quality of the football at times has been outstanding under intense pressure,” Rodgers said.
“They are incredible games to be involved in as a manager and a player.
“Whether it’s at Anfield or at Goodison they are tough games. But we are playing well and arriving into the game creating opportunities that we weren’t at the beginning of the season.
“So we are really excited about the game.”
