The pair clash at Stamford Bridge on Saturday with both managers in need of a morale-boosting win, but Klopp doesn’t envisage experiencing any problems with the Portuguese tactician.
As seen above in his press conference on Friday, as reported by Sky Sports, the former Dortmund boss did joke that his opposite number gets on with him due to the fact that he isn’t a journalist or a referee.
Liverpool head to west London in ninth place in the Premier League table and they are unbeaten in four games since Klopp took charge at the club.
While on the face of it that is an impressive start to life on Merseyside given the short amount of time that he has had to work with his players and change their philosophy and style, the 48-year-old has only managed one win and three draws.
As a result, he will be keen to add another victory to his tally on Saturday against a struggling Chelsea side that remain in the bottom half of the table after their disappointing start to the campaign.
The reigning Premier League champions are 15th following five defeats from their opening 10 games, and Mourinho will know the importance of avoiding another loss in his bid to turn things around.
In turn that sets up an intriguing encounter, and based on Klopp’s comments on Friday, the pair may well analyse the game together after regardless of the result.
