Brendan Rodgers is keeping faith with Mario Balotelli, and has no intention of selling the striker in January, according to Caught Offside.

The controversial striker made a £16m move to Liverpool over the summer, but has failed to impress since his switch from AC Milan. Liverpool have been struggling for goals this season, with Daniel Sturridge spending much of his time injured and Luis Suarez’s goals proving impossible to replace.
With the former Mancester City man facing a ban from the FA over a racist and anti-semitic Instagram post, reports had been suggesting that Rodgers had lost patience and was willing to cut his losses in January. It seems the Italian international won’t be going anywhere however, at least not until next summer.
Balotelli is planning to challenge the impending ban that he is set to face, with a three-match ban excessive in his eyes.
