Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers remains confident that he can reel in Ings for a free transfer, even though it’s technically not free since there will be a separate £5m fee that Liverpool would have to pay.
Ings is also being pursued by Manchester United and La Liga squad Real Sociedad, and manager David Moyes is reportedly making a strong pitch for Ings to join his team.
Ings led Burnley in scoring with 10 goals, and he added four assists to his 2014-15 Premier League season.
It has been nothing short of frustrating since Burnley is in 19th place and will be relegated from the Premier League.
The free-agent striker has not officially made a decision on his future, but he said that he will decide by the end of the month.
