Torres joined Pippo Inzaghi’s Milan side on a two-year loan deal in the summer, taking him to the end of his Stamford Bridge contract, but the Spaniard’s performances at the San Siro have been so dismal that recent reports have suggested that the deal could be cancelled in January.
Other reports have suggested that Chelsea would be willing to allow Torres to leave on a free transfer if this was the case, with this particular report suggesting that a desperate Brendan Rodgers could look to bring him back to Anfield in a shock move.
