Reds sounding out the possibility of Andre Villas-Boas.
Liverpool are investigating the possibility of replacing manager Brendan Rodgers with former Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur boss Andre Villas-Boas, report the Express, after the Reds’ dismal season continued with a drab 0-0 draw against struggling Sunderland at Anfield this weekend.

Rodgers has come under increased pressure in recent weeks as his side have slumped to mid-table in the Premier League and also face a huge week in the Champions League, with a victory against FC Basel at Anfield on Tuesday the only way that they can progress to the knock-out stages.
Villas-Boas has been rebuilding his career since being sacked by Tottenham Hotspur just over one year ago, with the Portuguese manager joining Russian side Zenit St. Petersburg, whom he has led to the top of the domestic league table.
