Liverpool look set to offload veteran defender Kolo Toure to Trabzonspor after reportedly agreeing a £1.5m fee with the Turkish side, according to Fanatik.
The 33-year-old only spent one season at Anfield after joining on a free transfer from Manchester City, and it is no secret that he struggled to impress in his brief spell on Merseyside with some suspect performances at the back and high-profile individual errors at crucial moments.
Toure will join fellow Premier League stars of old at Trabzonspor, with ex-Chelsea duo Jose Boswinga and Florent Malouda currently on their books.
The Ivory Coast international also played for Manchester City in a long career in England, and has previously been regarded as one of the finest defenders in the Premier League, particularly for his role in Arsenal’s 2003/04 ‘Invincibles’ title victory.
