Liverpool have reportedly offered Fabio Borini to Leicester City and Aston Villa in the hope of offloading the striker this summer.
The Italian is widely expected to leave Anfield after scoring just three goals for the Reds since his £12m arrival in 2012.
He had been strongly tipped to return to Serie A with Lazio, but Liverpool are also looking for a buyer in the Premier League as Borini may want to stay in England
According to the Sun on Sunday, both Leicester and Villa are interested in Liverpool’s proposal after seeing the 24-year-old score seven goals in a loan spell at Sunderland in 2013-14.
New Foxes boss Claudio Ranieri is yet to make a signing since replacing the sacked Nigel Pearson at the King Power Stadium and could be tempted to swoop for his compatriot.
Villa are desperate for a couple of strikers after selling Christian Benteke to Liverpool, but Lorient forward Jordan Ayew and Tottenham Hotspur’s Emmanuel Adebayor are thought to be their top targets.
