Everton star Kevin Mirallas is a surprise target for Liverpool in January, with Brendan Rodgers looking to add more goals to his side, according to Caught Offside.

Mirallas recently restated his desire to play in the Champions League, something he is currently unable to do at Everton.
“I’ve made no secret of the fact that I want to play in the Champions League. Ideally I will do so with Everton,” he said.
“But if that doesn’t appear possible we will have to look at the situation.”
Everton are reportedly looking to tie the Belgian star down to a long term contract, but are willing to sell in January if he turns down a new deal. Merseyside rivals Liverpool may be the last team they would want to sell to, but a sizeable bid may see them persuaded.
Liverpool don’t look any more capable than Everton of finishing in the top four at the moment, so if he really is looking for Champions League football then the tricky forward may need to look further abroad.
