Liverpool may now have to look elsewhere to fix their goalkeeping crisis…
Itlian transfer website CalcioMercato are reporting that Roma are ready to offer Fiorentina’s Neto a contract.
The goalkeeper, linked with Liverpool in recent days, has apparently been offered €1.8m per year to move to Rome.

The Brazilian is out of contract this summer, so clubs are able to offer him pre-contracts in January. Given that Liverpool’s current goalkeepers are the dropped Simon Mignolet and Brad Jones, they will presumably want to pay Fiorentina a fee in order to secure Neto in January.
Roma’s first choice keeper keeper Morgan de Sanctis had a great season last term but has disappointed since September.
