Liverpool fans are not exactly overjoyed by the news that they are closing in on the signing of Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke.
Reports this afternoon claim that the Reds have agreed to pay the Belgian’s £32.5m release clause to beat Manchester United to his signature.

But a significant section of the Kop are angry with the hefty fee and worried that the 24-year-old target man, seen scoring against United last season below, will not suit their style of play.
