The Gunners were delighted after winning 2-0 on their trip to Manchester City.
Arsenal may have picked up their most impressive win of the season at the weekend when goals from Santi Cazorla and Olivier Giroud proved to be enough to see off Manchester City 2-0, but former Liverpool captain Jamie Carragher believes that the Gunners have been over-exuberant in their celebrating of the result.

Carragher pointed to examples of photos uploaded to social media, with Alexis Sanchez and Aaron Ramsey mentioned as having been over-the-top and unreasonable because the North Londoners did not have a trophy to add into the scenes in the dressing room following the victory.
Speaking on his regular Monday Night Football slot, Carragher blasted both Arsenal and other teams for the habit of celebrating results in this manner, and does not believe that it is a positive thing:
“It’s winding me up – it’s an absolute joke. It was one giant going to another giant. Of course celebrate, but it’s nonsense all of these team pics in dressing rooms – normally you have them with a cup! It’s nonsense and they need to stop doing it,” the 36-year-old was quoted by the Mail.
