The Potteries finally agree £7 million deal for Assaidi.
Liverpool are set to sell their 25-year old winger Oussama Assaidi to Stoke City after long drawn negotiations over a £7 million deal, reports the Telegraph.
Stoke City had the winger on loan at the Britannia Stadium last season, and were impressed enough with his displays to eye a permanent deal.
The Moroccan international netted five goals in 25 games for the Potteries last season, after having only featured in four league games for the Reds in 2012 before being loaned out.
Kop boss Brendan Rodgers, therefore, does not seem to have Assaidi in his long term plans at Anfield.
Stoke manager Mark Hughes though would be happy to sign an explosive winger like Assaidi, whose individual brilliance was vital for the Potters at crucial times last season.
He netted a fantastic goal from distance to help Stoke beat Chelsea early last term, and could continue to help the Potters be a threat to the big teams if the deal does go through.
Stoke seem confident of completing the formalities and finalising a deal by the end of this week.
