Sevilla interested in signing Aspas.
Liverpool could get a chance to regain some portion of the £7.7 million they spent on Spanish forward Iago Aspas last summer as Europa League winners Sevilla are interested in his services, according to the Daily Star.
La Liga outfit feel that that Aspas would be a good player to have in the Spanish league, where he excelled for Celta Vigo before switching to Anfield.
They want to land the 26-year old as a replacement for one of their front men Carlos Bacca, whose future at the club is uncertain.
This situation could be an opportunity for Reds manager Brendan Rodgers to offload his ineffective signing in Aspas, who netted just once in 15 games for the Anfield side last season.
Aspas too is keen to force a switch back to Spain to get his career back on track, and there may not be any shortage of takers for him in his home country.
The Reds might have to incur some loss over their spend on the forward, but they could do without the extra wage bill with new signings imminent this summer.
