Borini has been heavily linked with an Anfield exit in recent weeks after struggling to nail down a starting spot Brendan Rodgers’ side despite Liverpool’s horror season last term.
According to The Sun, Borini will head to London for talks and a medical after the Reds and Hammers agreed an £8m fee.
The Italian made just eight Premier League starts for Liverpool last season but is believed to be demanding a £100k-a-week salary.
Sunderland are also believed to be interested in the 24-year-old, while a number of Italian clubs were also reported to be sniffing around the former Chelsea man.
Rodgers is understood to be looking to offload Borini in an attempt to create funds to sign a proven goalscorer.
Sevilla’s Carlos Bacca has been linked with a move to Anfield, as has Aston Villa hitman Christian Benteke.
