Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette could hit the transfer market pretty soon. Do the Reds have the cash to snap him up quickly?
Liverpool have been closely monitoring the Alexandre Lacazette situation in France, and their patience appears to have paid off.
According to the Metro, Lyon manager Hubert Fournier has been disappointed in Lacazette’s attitude since the transfer rumors began and has even go so far as to tell Lacazette that he’s free to seek a transfer.
Should the Reds manage to secure Lacazette for a bid believed to be £21.2 million, the club would go from having nobody with 10 goals or more from last season to having three – with the additions of Danny Ings and Christian Benteke.

Liverpool has recently been quoted as the team in the lead for Lacazette’s services, but Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Barcelona and Real Madrid have all been lining up for a crack at the French megastar’s services.
Lacazette finished third in scoring within the five major European football leagues, making 27 goals for Lyon while leading Ligue 1 last season – only Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo had more. Lacazette’s mark also ranked 5th among all scorers in the UEFA.
