Doubts had arisen over Uruguay forward’s Reds future following latest on-pitch indiscretion.
Liverpool have received a huge boost with the news that front man Luis Suarez will still be with the Merseyside giants next season, according to reports in the Sun.
The controversial Uruguay international was recently banned by The Football Association for ten matches for biting the upper arm of Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic in a Premier League encounter at Anfield.
And that huge suspension means that the Reds will now be without their influential attacker for both the remainder of this campaign, as well as the first six matches of next season.
However the 26-year-old, who has found the back of the net on 23 occasions in just 33 top-flight matches for the Reds this season, in the process becoming the first Liverpool player since Fernando Torres to reach that mark, has come out to refute recent suggestions that he will quit the club at the end of the season.
“I have a deal with Liverpool and this is my present – and future,” said Suarez.
