Liverpool transfer news
The 23-year-old has recently won favour with under-fire coach Luis Enrique, but he is still believed to be keen on an exit from the club – and he is hoping to make his getaway during the January transfer window.
“Since we wrote to the club, Martin has played four times,” agent Juan Dios Carrasco is reported as saying..
“This made us happy.
“We would rather he is on the pitch than on the bench or in the stands.
“But our idea is still the same and the player wants to leave.”
Montoya is another product of the club’s prolific youth academy, but has made only 40 appearances since making his breakthrough into first team in 2011.
