Reds hoping to beat off Serie A competition for Xherdan Shaqiri.
Liverpool have a €14 million offer currently sat on the table for Bayern Munich winger Xherdan Shaqiri, reports Italian journalist Gianluca di Marzio, but they face competition from Inter Milan and Juventus – both of whom have already begun talks with the Swiss international.

Neither side is believed to have agreed a deal for Shaqiri with Bayern themselves, however, opening the door to Liverpool stealing a march on the Italian duo if their offer for the winger is accepted by Pep Guardiola and Bayern.
Liverpool are believed to be long term admirers of Shaqiri and moved for him in the summer window but, after just three Bundesliga starts for Bayern this season, a move away from the Allianz Arena now looks more likely.
