Liverpool have been busier than the majority of their Premier League rivals in the transfer market so far this summer, adding four players – James Milner from Manchester City, Adam Bogdan from Bolton Wanderers, Danny Ings from Burnley and Joe Gomez from Charlton Athletic.

The Anfield club’s summer spending appears to be far from done, with Sky Sports reporting today that the Reds have held talks with three strikers.
According to Sky sources, Liverpool have made contact with Brazilian Hoffenheim star Roberto Firmino, Colombian Sevilla frontman Carlos Bacca and Zenit’s Venezuela international Salomon Rondon (pictured).
A deal to sign Firmino, 23, seems to be closer than potential moves for Bacca and Rondon.
The Express reported overnight that Firmino was on the verge of joining Liverpool in an £18m deal, despite interest from Manchester United.
Bacca, 28, has also been linked with United in recent weeks.
Arsenal have apparently been sniffing around Bacca and Rondon this year.
Bacca has scored 34 goals in 72 La Liga games for Sevilla. Firmino, who often plays in attacking midfield, has bagged 35 in 129 Bundesliga matches for Hoffenheim, while Rondon, 25, has netted 20 times in 36 Russian league appearances for Zenit.
