Liverpool flop Fabio Borini looks set for a move back to the Serie A with Fiorentina, according to reports.
Borini has been heavily linked with a move away from Anfield this summer, and The Guardian reports the Reds are in the middle of talks with Fiorentina over the transfer of the striker.
The former Chelsea man has struggled to make an impact at Liverpool, making just 25 Premier League appearances for the Merseyside club since joining in 2012.
Borini spent the 2014/14 season on loan with Sunderland and scored seven goals in 32 league games but turned his back on a permanent move to remain with the Black Cats.
Liverpool are desperately keen to offload the Italian, and a move to Fiorentina could get the 24-year-old back in the frame for EURO 2016 selection with Italy.
The arrival of Christian Benteke, Danny Ings, Divock Origi and Roberto Firmino has sent the Italian even further down the pecking order at Anfield, and a move away now seems all but certain.
The Sun reports the striker to be valued at £8m, but the Reds may have to drop its asking price in order to get the player off its books.
